Meet the guest: Dr. Saad Gharaibeh grew up in Jordan, where his father ran a chicken farm. In 1996, he completed a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. Then he completed a Ph.D. Program and a residency in veterinary pathology at the University of Georgia in 2001. Dr. Gharaibeh has held positions as a diagnostician at the Clemson University Diagnostic Center, a diagnostician, researcher, and poultry disease instructor at the Jordan University of Science and Technology, and as a poultry disease instructor, researcher, and avian histopathologist at the Poultry Disease and Research Center at UGA. He currently works as a poultry pathologist at the Minnesota Poultry Testing Laboratory and the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory, both at UMN.
