Meet the guest:

Dr. Sarah Pearce holds a Ph.D. in Nutritional Sciences from Iowa State University and earned her Master's Degree. Her research focuses on gastrointestinal and nutritional physiology, exploring how nutrition can mitigate the negative impacts of environmental stressors on the gastrointestinal tract. Currently, she is a Research Animal Physiologist at the USDA Agricultural Research Service in Ames, Iowa. Dr. Pearce's work integrates animal performance with oxidative stress, immune competence, and digestive function to improve animal productivity without antibiotics.
