Meet Dr. Keith Warriner, a food safety and microbiology expert. Starting as a chef in the UK, Dr. Warriner transitioned to food science, earning his Ph.D. and excelling in biosensor research at the University of Manchester. As a Research Fellow at the University of Nottingham, he focused on food microbiology related to fresh produce. Joining the University of Guelph's Department of Food Science in 2002, he became a full professor in 2011. His work is pivotal in advancing food safety, making significant contributions to the field.
