Meet the guest:
Christen Burgett, Associate Teaching Professor at Iowa State University, dedicates 50% to teaching and 50% to academic advising. Since 2012, she has taught multiple courses, including Dairy Cattle Science and Dairy Cattle Evaluation, and she currently coaches the ISU Senior and Junior Dairy Judging Teams. Burgett also co-advises the Dairy Science Club and advises around 70 undergraduate students each semester. Christen's commitment to excellence in teaching and student mentorship has earned her multiple awards, such as the 2020 American Society of Animal Science/American Dairy Science Association Midwest Outstanding Young Teacher Award.
