Dr. Gaurav Jha is an assistant professor of precision agriculture at Kansas State University, with a rich background spanning from being an assistant research professor at Montana State University to being a postdoctoral scholar at the University of California, Davis. His work focuses on leveraging advanced sensor technologies, wireless networks, and smart irrigation practices to enhance precision agriculture. Dr. Jha holds a Ph.D. in Plant and Environmental Sciences from New Mexico State University, where he researched contaminant monitoring in the Navajo Nation, and an M.S. from the Department of Soil Science at Punjab Agricultural University in India, exploring the impact of salinity on crops.
