the poultry nutrition blackbelt Jul 06, 2023

Lipids play an essential role in organ development and perinatal growth. Functional omega-3 fatty acids, such as α-linoleic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, may improve chick quality and growth performance. In this episode, Dr. Aizwarya (Ash) Thanabalan explains her research, which involved feeding broiler breeders different forms of omega-3 fatty acids and observing the effects on their performance. She also talks about how the study evaluated the way broiler response to the Coccidiosis challenge could be increased and the way the offspring is affected.
