Poultry Nutrition Blackbelt - #1 - Poultry nutrition through the lens of experts
Jun 21, 2023We are proud to bring to you our brand new podcast, the Poultry Nutrition Blackbelt Podcast! This is where we delve deep into the world of poultry nutrition alongside the brightest minds of the global poultry nutrition industry – all of it available right in your pocket!
In our very first episode, I talk with Dr. Kelley Wamsley, who is going to host the podcast alongside me. We have an inspiring conversation where, besides introducing ourselves, we also discuss the poultry industry as a whole as well as some influential papers, research areas, and the evolving nature of poultry nutrition. We also highlight the interdisciplinary nature of nutrition and the excitement of working in various settings, including the classroom, lab, and farm.

Hobbies: being outdoors, playing with animals (dogs)
Favorite book, movie or TV series: I like survival shows, The Office, National Geographic shows, etc.
Favorite quote: “Life moves pretty fast. If you don’t stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.” – Ferris Bueller; “Enthusiasm is common. Endurance is rare.” – Angela Duckworth, Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance
A tip for success: Sometimes, I struggle with finishing things because I want them to be "perfect" – we all need to give ourselves a break and recognize that while something may not be as perfect as it could be, it is good enough.
