Dr. Randall Phebus has been a Professor of Food Safety and Defense at Kansas State University since 1992, with a rich background in food microbiology and food safety. His work encompasses the development of antimicrobial interventions and pathogen characterization in food systems. A research fellow at the Biosecurity Research Institute, Dr. Phebus is an alumnus of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville, holding a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology.
