Dr. Sumit Sharma is an Assistant Extension Professor at Oklahoma State University, specializing in irrigation and water management. He holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy and Crop Physiology from Texas Tech University and a Master’s degree in Soil Sciences from Oklahoma State. With over seven years of experience, Dr. Sharma has worked extensively on carbon sequestration, soil organic carbon, and water dynamics in agroecosystems. His research focuses on optimizing irrigation strategies for sustainable crop production in the High Plains.
