Meet the guest:
Dr. Pablo Piñeyro is an Associate Professor and Diagnostic Pathologist at Iowa State University’s Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. He holds a DVM from Universidad de la Plata, Argentina, and a Ph.D. in Swine Epidemiology and Pathology from the same institution. Dr. Piñeyro also earned an MSc in Microbiology from Washington State University and a second Ph.D. in Molecular Virology from Virginia Tech. He was part of the team that first detected PCV3 and is actively involved in global swine health research.
