Dr. Derrell Peel is a distinguished professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics at Oklahoma State University, where he has held the Charles Breedlove Professorship of Agribusiness since 1989. With a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Peel specializes in livestock market outlook and marketing strategies. His work spans over 35 years, focusing on beef cattle economics, meat demand, and global trade.
