Dr. Laura Solano is an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, where she focuses on dairy cattle health, emphasizing epidemiology, lameness, and hoof health. She holds a Ph.D. in Veterinary Epidemiology from the University of Calgary, complemented by a postdoctoral fellowship in the Animal Welfare Program at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Solano is dedicated to advancing herd management practices through cutting-edge research and education.
