Dr. Robert L. Taylor Jr., a Professor of Animal and Nutritional Sciences, received his B.A. and M.S. degrees from Carson-Newman College and Auburn University, respectively, and his Ph.D. from Mississippi State University. His research focuses on immunogenetics and the genetic basis for resistance to avian diseases. As a Fellow of the Poultry Science Association and current Editor-in-Chief for Poultry Science, Dr. Taylor is a leading authority in the field.
